Morning Muse Philadelphia Eagles headlines

Just like the snow the Northeast is about to receive, the Philadelphia Eagles just keeps on coming. Which is a good thing, especially in the offseason. From the GM search to the Pro Bowl to the last time last Philly Super Bowl team, let’s get to it!

Team Irvin, featuring Darren Sproles, prevailed 32-28 in the Pro Bowl over the more Eagles-laden Team Carter.  Say what you will about the NFL’s all-star game, but a good, injury-free time was had by all–and that’s kind of the point. “All these great players, man, we had fun,” said Darren Sproles about the experience. – Philadelphia Daily News

LeSean McCoy weighed gave his thoughts on Marcus Mariota on the NFL Network. Doesn’t sound like he’s sold. “Because the thing is, we want to win now.” –  Birds 24/7

A retrospective of the Eagles players on the roster when the team last went to the Super Bowl in 2004. A tremendously interesting read, but sad as it’s a reminder of just how long it’s been since Philadelphia has been in the big game. –
