Philadelphia Eagles rookie camp preview: Who’s signed, who’s attending

On the eve of the first rookie camp under Chip Kelly, the Philadelphia Eagles were busy getting down to other business with their rookies—getting five of the team’s draft picks signed.

Included in that group are second-round pick TE Zach Ertz, fifth-round safety Earl Wolff, and seventh-rounders DE Joe Kruger, CB Jordan Poyner and DE David King. This means that three of the team’s draftees remain unsigned—first-rounder Lane Johnson, third-rounder Bennie Logan and fourth-round pick Matt Barkley. The 2013 Philadelphia Eagles draft class is set, and now one formality remains–following the rookies on Twitter, of course! Here are the details you need, along with a sampling of tweets from these young men s as they found out their new home in the ranks of professional football.

They are listed in alphabetical order based on their first names for no particular reason, other than that’s what I wanted to do.

While the news of the Philadelphia Eagles’ selection of Matt Barkley was still setting in, the Eagles were still busy making their remaining picks in the 2013 NFL Draft. The four picks following Barkley for the Birds were all on defense. To round out their selections, the Eagles drafted S Earl Wolff out of NC State; Utah DE Joe Kruger; CB Jordan Poyer out of Oregon State; and Oklahoma DE David King.
